Weekend Running

I am trying to have a positive attitude in the blog today, because there is no reason why I shouldn't. For some reason I am feeling a little bit grouchy today though. I think it was walking to work in a stiff wind. Blast!! (as Stewie would say on the Family Guy)

Anyway here is what happened from an exercise standpoint over the long weekend:

Friday - elliptical
Saturday - 2 hours of snowshoeing to finish out 2005. This was fun but not scenic, so this morning along with the Yaktrax I have been meaning to purchase for two months, I bought a snowshoeing book so that I will find more scenic places to go.
Sunday - 6 miles, Wash Park. This was nice. It was very windy but I was at Wash Park, which I love, so it was all good. Nice way to start the year in running.
Monday - 5 miles, 3.5 with Matt, 1.5 alone. I don't know what was up but it was HARD to run 9:30 pace. Like really hard. Hopefully I will feel better today!

God knows I have no idea as to what happens technically with this site (THANK YOU Alison), but the interface is different and I love it! The font size where I am typing is so much smaller which is great. I am about to write an additional entry with goals for 2006, so stay tuned.

I just upgraded to a newer version of movable type the other night. It means that we have access to new features (a wider variety of templates), and hopefully better anti-spam comment measures. I'm glad it's working well for you!
