Rocking Out

So this is why it's good that I am a developer now. I am sitting in my cube, listening to Cream, rocking out and playing the air drums. I have always thought that if I started playing the drums as a child I might have been pretty good. Oh well, it is just one of those things.

Anyway, last night I opted not to go for a second run. My legs were inexplicably sore, so I thought discretion was the better part of valour there. And I was exhausted and just did not feel well. I was really wishing I could have gone home yesterday.

This morning I got up at 6:00 and ran 10 miles. There is a path kind of close to my hotel that goes out to the bay. It is not all that pretty but it's kind of nice, and it is an easy way to run far without having to deal with cars and stuff. I felt pretty good on the run although my feet were wishing they were on a softer surface. I would like to run on dirt tomorrow and most of the weekend. Luckily my mileage is pretty decent so far this week, so that is nice! My stomach feels weird today, as it often does when I have to fly a lot, but hopefully now that I'll be staying in Denver all the time for a while it will start doing better.

I am tired today, I have not slept very well this week but I just can't wait to get home!
