Spring
Spring is the worst season in Colorado. It is constantly disappointing and since we hardly have trees to speak of it is not pretty at all. This morning it was freaking cold when I ran - the only redeeming quality of the weather was fog, we never get fog here so I really enjoy it. However I am so, so, so sick of being cold all the time and wearing so many clothes all the time on my runs. Whine, whine, whine... I feel better now but what is the purpose of a blog but to be able to whine whenever you want!
Anyway I ran 7 miles this morning and did a run I hadn't done in a while for some reason = I guess I had kind of forgotten that it existed. It is a nice one, first I run through a park, then down a nice avenue with big huge houses, then through the ritzy shopping area nearby. I think it may be more like 7.5 miles but who knows. When I first started out I was very grumpy for some reason but the run went by very quickly so it was actually quite enjoyable!
Last night we went to dinner at our favorite restaurant (and the site of our first date!) with Matt's parents. We had a great time. We had not been there for a while because it got a huge writeup in the Denver magazine so it is constantly packed with a huge wait but last night we didn't have to wait at all. I do want to mention however that my stomach has been driving me up the wall lately. It seems like every time I eat anything after about 2:00 pm my stomach just kills me. This happened again last night so it's kind of frustrating and I hope it'll stop soon!
One other thing to mention: yesterday around 2:00 I went for a late lunchtime workout, ran 3 miles on the treadmill (and the only thing that was on is Fox News, no wonder I have been grumpy! freaking delusional bush-propaganda pushing conservatives), and then lifted legs and did 30 boy push-ups. Sadly this is the only form of lifting I've done in a while but it will have to do right now. Tonight Matt is meeting a friend for drinks so I may run a quick 3-4 miles, but I may just be lazy!

It seems like a lot of bloggers have been having stomach problems. Strange. I hope it gets better.
New York isn't the same without you!!
