Semi-Motivated
Well I have moved from being de-motivated to being semi-motivated. I actually had a great 8 mile run last night, I was hammering for at least 5 of the 8 miles. I was really surprised at how good I felt and at how easy it was to run relatively fast. So that is good news! Last night I also lifted weights for the first time this week (my soreness from snowboarding is almost over now). So that felt pretty good too.
This morning I got up at 6:05 and ran a very easy 7 miles. It was about 20 degrees out so I was cold almost the whole time but it was not too bad. I thought about running less this morning but I just kind of sleep-ran through it and it was fine. It was weird though, I keep having nightmares so every morning for the past several days I am awake but just kind of unsettled when I wake up. I hope that will stop!
Tomorrow I'd like to run 6-9 miles in the morning, same on Saturday, and then my long run Sunday. Everyone from my running group is either in Austin or Vancouver, WA this weekend so there is no practice to skip!
