Friday Doldrums

I am so bored right now! I really don't know why. I think I am just having a 'blah' kind of day. Which is not too bad a thing but so it goes.

Last Friday I had a truly awful run, made worse by the fact that I had forgotten my socks. This Friday I had a fairly crappy run but it was not nearly as bad as last Friday, so I guess I will be thanking God for small miracles. I ran at lunchtime today and that is part of the problem with the running. The gym way down here by my work (not the one I go to in the mornings or after work) is in such a bad area for running. It's just a big ugly office park with concrete sidewalks. Blah. Not only that but it is crazy hilly! I trotted around the area for about 4 miles (probably slightly less but I know a few other runs this week have been slightly over), which is not much of a workout but I've been running a lot this week and we have a pretty intense workout scheduled for tomorrow. After running I thought about lifting, cross training, running more, but decided to take a nice long steam instead because it's good for my skin and my well-being. It felt great!

I am not sure what our plan is for tonight but if Matt has something going on such that he won't be around for a while, I may run more, but if not, I will be absolutely fine with today's workout. This weekend I want to do something really fun but I don't know what that is, so hopefully we'll be able to think of something!
