Famished

I do not know why but I am so hungry today. Of course I have run 3 times in the last 24 hours but I really haven't run all that much. I guess I didn't really eat a big dinner last night either but it wasn't terribly small. Oh well. Right now I am having my second breakfast (which is only a power bar type of product), and I am looking forward to lunch! Luckily I will have over 24 hours off between now and my next run. This morning and last night the inside of my right knee kind of bugged me for a while so it won't be bad to have a little bit of time between runs.

Anyway here is what my runs actually were. Last night I drove home from work and ran 5 miles. So that gives me 9 miles for yesterday. I felt really good and think I was running about 8:30 pace. Then I got up really early this morning and ran 7 or 7.5 miles. It was pretty cold outside this morning so when I got out of the shower my legs were all red and splotchy and basically disgusting. I didn't really think it was all that cold during my run - maybe about 20 out - but that was bad.

Today that will be my only workout because we have some plans to go see Hotel Rwanda tonight. Well, either that or The Aviator. But it is SO LONG. I am in princess mode this week and insist on sleeping 8 hours a night which makes it hard to go see some crazy long movie on a Tuesday. This is a busy week - we didn't do anything last night but tonight we have the movies, then tomorrow Matt is going to have dinner with his mom, then Thursday we are going to dinner with my parents, and then Friday we are making dinner, and Saturday we're going skiing/boarding. Saturday night my friend is having a birthday party, then Sunday morning I have plans to meet a friend from my running group to run 12 miles, and then there is the Super Bowl. Hoo boy, it makes me tired just thinking about it! But it will be fun. Hopefullly I will fit in about 50 miles although I might be a little short due to skiing Saturday, unless I can run afterwards.

Hopefully someday I will lift again, possibly tomorrow. Now I am back to work!

What's wrong with eating two breakfasts? I do that every day! And if insisting on sleeping eight hours a night means you're in princess mode, I must be in princess mode all the time!

Good job getting all of those runs in, and I'm glad that you'll get some rest in the next 24 hours. It sounds like you have a busy social schedule, which is awesome. I wish I had that much of a life :-)

Have a great week!
