Snowy Sunday
So it has been snowing in Denver for about 18 hours now, I believe. I ran 10 miles in the snow this morning which was fun but definitely more difficult, the footing is kind of tricky and it seems to make the muscles in my lower legs work harder. It has definitely been a crazy weather day and it is really tough on people that are traveling = Matty is stuck in the middle of Nebraska at a shelter with his mom and his brother tonight!
I am pretty happy with the week from a running standpoint - 54 miles and the highest total since before my marathon. I've really enjoyed starting a bit of speed work again. I think I'm going to run a 5k this coming Saturday, I hope the weather will be decent. Otherwise I am just planning to run, ski, lift, and swim through the winter to attain a decent base before the summer.
I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday weekend!
