Back to Work

Well I have re-entered the working world. I am officially working for IBM now and I am half a day through new hire orientation.

So although a lot has been happening this will be a short entry and I will not be creating any REAL entries probably until Wednesday, although if I have a lot of time at some point I will try to do something meaningful.

First of all last week was a really good week which I finished with 74 miles, another all-time high. I know that now that I'm working again this will be rare and I am okay with that, but I am really glad I've been able to do it. I feel really good, actually, although today I am exhausted from traveling last night (my flight got into Washington Dulles at midnight). This morning I only ran 4 miles and I am considering going for another run later but I may just opt for sleep and hope to get up early and do a quality workout tomorrow.

That is most of the news. This weekend my goal will be to run 18 miles on Sunday, because I really think that I need to be focusing on real marathon training. Outside of that I hope to take the week pretty easy and run in the low 50's for mileage.
