Am I in Denver?
This is so confusing. I come back from the east coast where it is supposed to be humid and rainy.... to Denver where it is supposed to be dry and sunny... and it is humind and rainy! And 50 degrees! So I think that I'm in Denver but I can't be sure.
I slept for 9 hours last night (traveling is tiring) and got up this morning and ran 8 miles. Normally this would be a decent run but since I've been running like a crazy person lately I feel like a slacker. I am OK with that for now though. The run was fine, I started out pretty slow but running in the rain was a lot of fun.
This living half at altitude and half at sea level will be an interesting experiment. I am really not sure what will happen to my body. I guess I'll find out!
The rest of the week should be pretty standard, the only challenges will be getting up early tomorrow morning after a late night tonight (Prince concert) and then trying to run a long run Sunday morning after this crazy wedding on Saturday night.
I'm flying to Dallas very early Monday morning so I am going to need to make a point of it to run Monday after work, which shouldn't be too hard although I am sharing a car with people from work so I need to make them take me back to the hotel to get running stuff before it gets dark. So far I really don't mind the travel except that I never see M. and that when I have early flights on Mondays I am going to need to set limits on work to get my easy run in.
Not such a big deal though. I am excited to go back to the East Coast soon!
