Weight Lifting
Well I did not go to yoga yesterday but I actually went and lifted weights at the gym for the first time in two weeks. I always dread lifting weights and often plan to and then avoid doing it. However, yesterday it was the activity that worked the best in my schedule in the afternoon, so I did it. I did legs and some arm/shoulder/back stuff. I also biked on a really easy level for about 15 minutes just to warm up my legs and to get some reading done.
That is really all there is to report. I have practice after work today, we'll be doing a fartlek workout. The weather's been steadily warming up lately but it shouldn't be nearly as hot as two weeks ago, thankfully. I think it'll be a good, hard workout. Saturday's workout, which I'm planning to do in California, will be a killer, I believe. That will be fun.
On other topics - counting today, three more days of work. I am very excited about this. I think I can run 70 miles next week and the week after when I'm unemployed.
