Always sunny and 80

Right now I am loving being in Flordia. Although I am sure I would get tired of the heat if I lived here, it is such a nice break from Michigan this time of year. My friend and I are having a really good time. I miss her (she moved from Michigan about 3 years ago). Yesterday I did 6 miles in the morning followed by some crunches and push ups. Than my friend and spent the day together, mostly just talking, although we did spend several hours at the beach, where I discovered just how hard it is to keep a baby from getting sandy. This morning I ran 8 miles with 2 times a half mile hard. Nothing special in this workout, just feeling like I have been running easy for too many days in a row with all my traveling and no track practice, but feeling too lazy to do a real workout. I never feel that great when visiting this friend, since we eat out for all our meals, and stay up way later than I am use to. And since I can not sleep in like her, I end up always being tired. At least it gives me my mornings to run guilt free. I am going to go try to call my husband. When I talked to him last night he was sick and had a fever of 102.4, so I am feeling rather bad for leaving him home alone. At least I come home tomorrow, so if he stays sick for long, I will be home soon.
